न मां दुष्कृतिनो मूढा: प्रपद्यन्ते नराधमा: |
माययापहृतज्ञाना आसुरं भावमाश्रिता: ॥15॥
The foolish evildoers, who are the most depraved among men, who are deprived of (their) wisdom by Maya, and who resort to demoniacal ways, do not take refuge in Me.
Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me.
It means a person who is completely absorbed in material desires and delusions cannot understand a wise person's perspective. This is because their knowledge is limited and their consciousness is clouded by ignorance. However, with spiritual practice and dedication, it is possible to overcome these limitations and gain access to higher levels of understanding and wisdom.
Few people live in illusion. Illusion of knowledge, illusion of knowing everything. This leads to be overconfidence and intellectual stupidity.

It is important to differentiate between intelligence and wisdom. Intelligence is often associated with cognitive abilities such as problem-solving, memory, and learning quickly. Wisdom, on the other hand, is not solely dependent on intelligence, but rather involves a deeper understanding of life gained through experience and reflection. While a person may have a high level of intelligence, they may not necessarily possess wisdom, and vice versa. However still there will be people who will be intelligently Stupid. These intelligent stupid are who are incompetent and they tend:
- Overestimate their skill and knowledge levels
- They live in past experience and try to apply the same in even new environment,
- They speak hyperbole,
- Speaks and lot and has a very bad listening ability,
- Micromanages their team because of insecurity,
- Fail to recognize the genuine skill and expertise of other people,
- Fail to recognize their own mistakes and lack of skill
Sometimes they behave like a bubble. When someone gains a small amount of knowledge about a topic, they may feel like they know everything there is to know. This can cause them to become overly confident in their abilities, which can lead to mistakes and failures.
A foolish leader who makes poor decisions may harm their organization or their community. A foolish driver who disregards traffic laws may cause an accident that injures themselves or others. A foolish investor who makes risky investments may lose their life savings. The problem with foolishness is that it often leads to a lack of judgment and critical thinking skills. Foolish people may jump to conclusions without considering all the facts, or they may make decisions based on emotions rather than logic. They may also lack the ability to learn from their mistakes and may continue to make the same errors over and over again.
One way to avoid being foolish is to cultivate self-awareness and a willingness to learn. We need to be able to recognize our own limitations and to seek out feedback and advice from others. We also need to be willing to admit when we are wrong and to take steps to correct our mistakes.
Another factor is overconfidence.
Overconfidence can be particularly problematic in situations that require a high level of skill or expertise, such as medicine, engineering, or finance. In these fields, a small mistake can have serious consequences, and overconfidence can lead to costly errors.
Similarly, an engineer who has just learned about a new technology may feel confident in their ability to use it in their designs. However, they may not have a full understanding of the technology's limitations, which could lead to failures or malfunctions.
So, what can be done to avoid overconfidence? The key is to recognize the limitations of our knowledge and skills. We need to be humble and willing to admit when we don't know something or when we need help.
One way to avoid overconfidence is to seek out feedback and advice from others. This can help us to identify areas where we need to improve and to avoid making mistakes. Another way could be to continue learning and expanding our knowledge. This can help us to gain a deeper understanding of a topic and to recognize the complexities involved.
